A little update on myself.
Fyi, I'm still staying in Taiping at the moment thanks to my mom's good fren that willing to borrow her 1.6 Proton Waja to me..Though, travelling along the 案发现场 everyday is so torturing..While keeping my eyes on the road, the cars..I've to "scan" the sideways to rule out any "living creatures" especially the super fast wild-boar ("flying" across the road at 60km/h), the strong cows, groups of monkeys, hens, dogs, sheeps...*not joking* Since it's so damn stressful, I've decided to move myself into Forever-land as soon as I found a good place to stay. A new life is coming, not anticipating anyway.

Also, I will be going Hosp. Gerik on 18th Feb (Wednesday) for a Lawatan sambil belajar to see how they got the 3years MSQH Acredidation. "so damn free lah the people in Forever-land"...Come on, come join us.

晴天霹雳！

今天没有照片，只有变天。
我不是政治部落客，平时写的不是安华或阿都拉，认识的朋友不是蒙古来的。
我什么都没有，手上只有两张票而已，四年才可以用到一次的票。
可是，今天，我知道了，昨晚看“游龙戏凤”的戏票应该还值钱吧。
相信，霹雳州的子民现在都和我有一样的感觉吧，被打劫的感觉。
真的可笑，我们买的麦当佬，现在却变了肯德记。
你不要，可是你可以做什么？人家的鸡肉大块到可以丢死你呀！
黑暗中，人民已经没有谁可以相信了，就像麦当佬和肯德记一样。
基本上它们都不是什么优质食品了，大不了四年后再买过咯。

当全世界在拼经济的当儿，我们却在这举行青蛙跨栏比赛。
胜出的当然是连续跨过两次，前前后后，史无前例，安然无恙回到老秤的青蛙一号。
第二和第三名基本上都没什么出奇，自古以来，带罪立功的人通常都会成功保住它们的狗命，以免人头落地。出奇的是，裁判以超出一般大马人所认为快的速度，就断定它们的弃跑信函是被迫签的，没有用的，所以还是可以继续跨咯。
看到了前三名的青蛙冲过了栏杆，这时候在后面还有一只跛脚的青蛙。
它或许很努力，就像龟兔赛跑里的乌龟一样，赚人热泪。
可是，它拐下拐下地走着走着，这只青蛙却认为它变成了丑小鸭，备受排斥的它只好接受，变成了一只相信拐杖的乌龟。
它可真的不知道，还是它的教育水准低，它的行为可让我们这班默默耕耘，终于开始看到公平对待，没有拐杖的我们，失望，悲愤，痛惜，和蒙羞。看清楚，“羞”字是酱写的。
请大家记住它们，请让我们的子孙也记住它们。

一年前，当海啸发生后，我还天真的以为肯德记会改善，原来是一招暗渡陈仓，扮猪吃老虎。
高手过招，两回合正赛都输得一脸子灰，这时只好使茅招咯。
话说回来，麦当佬先撩者贱，打死罢休，现在可不能五十步“骂”一百步呀！
精明的代表们，既然你们有闲情阔论“出水”，“寄居”，何不谈一谈“防止青蛙移民政策”呢？请你们还我们一个安宁，公平的生活。

精明的大家请记住，要让一个令我们彻底失望的东西消失，就要彻底地毁灭它，让它全军覆没。
今天，就让我们一起来倒数吧，最多我们忍多四年而已。

Describe Macau in 3 words? They are probably "casino", "biscuits", and "culture"...Macau is just too nice and make me wanted to go again..probably spend a short 3 days 2nites trip will do.. Daytime can go Macau's UNESCO World Heritage Sites + shopping + makan..Nightime go casino-hopping like Venetian-Macau, Casino Lisboa, MGM Grand Macau...a total of 28..haha..*minimum bet HK$200 at Venetian*..so crazy!

Before back home, can buy the super-nice "咀香园, preferred by locals, 73-years of history" biscuits and prepare to spend a HK$300 or more..*Also, you will see lots of "钜记" bakery with the slogan "7 years of leadership in the food sourvenir market (60%)" everywhere in Macau.. Use your own judgement, I bought both..haha..

It's time to introduce our members from the HK trip...It goes what as we planned back in few months ago, all of us were posted to different facilities so we can take a long break together. The girls are soonEe (H.Parit Buntar), siewMee (HTPG), yokeMei (KK. TPG), and foongYan (H. Ipoh). It was the 1st time to travel with them, and undoubtedly, they were forced to take lots of photos throughout the trip... haha -_-"

siauFwu (晓芙) and siauYong (晓蓉). The famous 芙蓉姐妹 from Tawau, Sabah..haha..Fwu now working in Singapore as a civil enginneer, while Yong, like or don't like, a "pharmer" in Semporna..It was cold, behind them is the famous Tsing Ma Bridge (青马大桥) covered by fog.

U can't deny, but we are actually influenced by the HongKong's culture so deeply in this Malaysia..We watch TVB, we know what is ICAC but no one can tell me what MACC is..When talking about food, ya..very common, HK-猪肠粉, HK-咖喱鱼丸, HK-丝袜奶茶..and HK-点心..So, what's so special about food in HK then? It's the environment.

In HK, you better know what u want to order before u sit down..the waiter will stare at u while giving u pressure..and was like thinking: "faster-lah dai lou, pick wife meh.." -_- .. I got an idea here, I think it worth a try..why not the government send some of us (the public servant) go to this HK just to minum-makan-minum-makan for a few days, to help improving the country's pace in completing task..come on, that time even minum-pagi pun cepat sikit-lah..:p

Ok, this Lin Heung Restaurant (莲香楼) is located at the 160-164, Wellington Street, Central. However, the nearest MTR station is 上环 (exit E2). The day we went, it was full of peoples, far more worst than 明阁 or 富山 in Ipoh. Peoples were sharing the 2-layers-table *can keep my dSLR under it*, reading newspaper, and enjoying their tea as well as time there..while the waiter was busy moving around 4-5 tables pouring hot water, discarding tea and etc..It takes quite a long time for us to settle down, but yet, the food won't come near you. Why?

Everybody was chasing after the dim sum car which came out from the kitchen..

You got to be kiasu a bit, take your dim sum card, joined the crowd, bought it, bring it back to your table..repeatedly for 5-6 times, then you'll have 5-6 plates of different dim sum on your table, before you can eventually sit down..and eat it. BUT but hor, pay attention to the next dim sum car coming out while eating! 真是吃都晤安乐...anyway, experience mah.

Actually, we have almost everything in Malaysia.. If you are afraid of taking flight or whatsoever reason u don't like to travel, just drive your car and eat in anywhere u feel sedap-lah..Although we are so envy towards HongKong, I think we have a better living that causing no stress.

I was so sad, really. Working without you is like seeing the world without colours. The feeling is like being left out in an orphanage. Now I realized all of the happy days in "Forever-land" for the past 3 months was because of your accompanying, bearing and supporting. I can't make it without you. It was the best thing to work with u, too. Thank you for everything.

a DAY IN HONG KONG.
Breakfast, HongKong style - not to be missed! Get yourself into one of the many 茶餐室s and taste a cup of 鸳鸯, and match with any toast/ noodles/ or 包..Don't be shock with the super mini space provided and yet any stranger will sit and eat together with u (搭抬)..No worry, overall, Hong Konger are friendly.

a NIGHT IN HONG KONG.
Night in HongKong was so amazed, agree? Shot with the help of a shoe box on my shaky hands..It was the 1st January of 2009..a "new start :>"..We were at the Tsim Sha Tsui Avenue of Stars to watch the "Symphony of Lights" laser show (start at 20:00 every night)..to watch it, click on the video link below!

Overall, I've spent less than MYR 3000 (excluding shopping & sourvenirs, of course!!) for 6 nights in HongKong and a night in Macau. Things like Nike, Adidas, ESPRIT, G2000 were ways cheaper than Malaysia, so be prepare! Oh ya, if you doesn't want to go Macau, take the direct flight to HongKong, the ferry from Macau nearly kill one of one friends..vomit till die.. :p So, was the trip enjoyable? sure..I've seen siauYong again.

Yes, yes, I know..it's an artificial lens fare..haha..nvm!! I didn't play much with my camera now, it just serves as a tool for me to take some photos whenever there's a need..I've lost my passion, probably bcos I'm not living with those fanatics like zhiyong & acrix, no competition no gain! keep going guys! Everytime, I was so reluctant to click on the link to this blog, my own blog..bcos I know it must be filled of junk messages, and yes, it was abandoned..no updates, no passion..haha..just like Selama..shhh....

Looking back at 2008, actually I've done quite a lot of things..I've been to 1 weeding dinner, Kuantan once, Pangkor twice, Bukit Mertajam twice, Penang twice, Juru & Kuala Sepetang 4 times, SELAMA x 3 months, and most importantly, I've seen xiaoRong 3 times (twice at KL, once at Tawau)..total of about 15 days..this is so abnormal..things are changing..I'm living in this Perak and she's living on her own as well..a phone call every night couldn't promise anything in the future..maybe. Come on, be optimistic! YES is the new no..haha.

Look carefully, this is the real siauRong with her Safari..she seems enjoy fetching me all the ways in Tawau, and she can park anywhere without hesitation..haha..I hope I can get a ride again in March, & August next year..If everything go smooth, will be meeting her twice only nxt year..2010 one time...and 2011 no time.. ?

Days before I was transferred to Hospital Selama..

Selama, a place that I'm supposed to go since they paid me since my PRP year (meaning I owned them RM40k)..I gave it up..I didn't yell or refuse the offer on the posting day because layHong got the SELAMA word on her letter too..she cried..she was sad, I can understand. I went on with my lapor diri together with peiSung (who got Teluk Intan) and headed towards Selama..and now, I'm already one month in 司南马. layHong? She's tougher than what u expect, and she's happy..! haha..

So, what's in your mind or what do u expect from this small hospital..that served less than 200 outpatients per day?..you will faint when I tell you there are only like 30 in-patients per day :O..Well..a small hospital that made up of 6 doctors, 4 pharmacists can actually do a lot (I know, i know, it's even smaller than some Klinik Kesihatan..)..so what am I doing now? I'm in fact taking care of ward supply, but with that amount of patients, I eventually end up in Store Integrasi..while layHong doing dispensing in OPD (she will start her clinical next week)..

The world of 4 pharmacists..who are all working under Pengarah Hospital (includes all permohonan cuti :x)..so, u must know more than what u want..or who can take cuti without the other on ganti?..the life here, i mean, working life here is not that bad that I've thought before I came..although I feel like going Sabah anytime now..

幸福不是必然的..I would like to thank Pn.Kamariah...I really appreciate of what you told me that day..I know I'll gain more than losing my time or money on petrol for the coming 1 year here in Selama (the time when I can finally submit my transfer form)..

Because of posting, I know a lot of places now..sounds like this..Kudat, Jerteh, Kinabatangan, Semporna, Raub, Selama..Ijok..with their locations as well..haha..! Damn you, those working in others' hometown! I love FOREVER!

My 1st post in about 2 months! I've been very busy (as I always said) during the past few weeks..had been involving in organizing seminar endocrinology, on-call, 5s (labelling), project, CPD presentation..even worst I'm now stationed in out-patient department..tired! Going to submit the log-book next week and it will marks the end of my PRP life, what a year I've been gone through in this small town, Taiping, is just too hard to describe.."enjoy 100%" is what I'll be telling you if u are asking me..cheh..

*While I'm so happy here, I'm struggling with my workload..currently doing a slide for the KMK group, so actually I'm not suppose to spend too much time here to blog cos I still haven done it..to submit tomorrow.* love.

photo taken at Tawau Hill's Park..samuel, yeeHuey, amy, tzeJin, and my xiaoRong..hehe..One week in Tawau was a pleasant experience..tasted a lot of tawau's food and every one of each kept me surprise..I was a bit culture shocked when it comes to communicate with the "locals"..their accents were unique and quite funny..and I can see Amy and co. are dispensing in these "bah" accents too..haha..

It's not easy to learn something from zero, thank you for sharing your interests with me, and I'll be more patience to listen next time..keep going! 101% support from me..love.

One week had past and it's time go back to work tomorrow..lots of work to be done for the coming months..anyway, I'm thinking of visit joe in Perlis & Thailand (weekend) before he ended up his PRP there, if possible joe?!

Mushrooms come with garlic..it tasted like a "fish ball" in your mouth *seriously*..damn nice! Yes, it was another "family day" with my colleagues here..yet another "Jipun dinner" at Juru Autocity..we aimed to conquer all the food here! After the last Takehana visit, we came to TAO this time. We ended up paying around rm55 per person to enjoy unlimited serving of mouth-watering sushi!! haha..The serving was fast and the waitress will be there for you to re-order and re-order!..without hanging there for more than 2 minutes, we got our new order served and my mouth was non-stop eating! It would be advisable to bring more frens here because you got the chance to taste every kind of dishes on the menu! *opps, please make your reservation before any you come here!*

Fyi, I'm currently doing CPS (Clinical Pharmacokinetics Service) in here..and my hospital is doing its "Akredidasi" by MSQH during these 3 days..."wow" :p..hopefully we got what we want and spare us the next few years of freedom from reading "fail meja" again....haha..

Finally I've finished the 1month long TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) training in here..Having compound more than 90 paeds and 60 adult bags together with Jenny, kimKhee and kak. Halimah, I've no time to eat lunch, no energy to blog, no mood to watch my tvb series......:p.....in exchange of a bunch of worthy experience, knowledge and techniques learned..I've to tell you all the truth that "Your pharmacists in goverment hospital are really working very hard to give you the best"..we might be the one who get all the complaints when we can't get you the medicines on time, but who the hell know it was actually because of your doctor *really busy in M'sia setting* that got your Rx wrong, make you late and putting you at risk? NObody...Do you think the "part-timer" or "experienced helper" hired in private clinic can tell back the doctor saying:"A, these 2 drugs are contraindicated and can't be taken together lah.."...NO..As a pharmacist, it was our job, more to responsibility, to make sure what medicines you getting are what you need to get your quality of life improved..nobody knows better than us..Please respect our profession and hand us back the RIGHTS of DISPENSING..It might be not now, but at least we should take a step further..TIME TO THINK about it..

I'm on my CNY holiday now!..hehe..but still I've to stay in Taiping for another 4-5 hours before the "Acreditation talk & lunch" finish at 4 later. I know it was about "URGE" :p as well, me & my colleagues went to Auto-city, Juru for a Japanese dinner..mouth watering sushi, sashimi, ramen..! All the food offered here are big in portion, don't be fooled by the menu! We (6) shared the yari ika (RM24) & salmon sashimi (RM22), and yet the girls can't finish their ramen..-_- I can see lovastatin on its way walking to me..damn it!

You will be surprised if you haven heard or been here before..The Auto-city offered a wide range choices of food..I saw a "Subway" outlet..missing those day in UK..enjoying subway while saving money on travelling..haha..Last year, we were celebrating chinese new year at our lovely James Blyth Court..thanks to felicia & co., we got a very warm & full reunion dinner..although we are apart now, I believe there will be a reunion one day..Gong Xi Fa Cai!..happy chinese new year everybody! love.

I didn't go back to Ipoh yesterday..it was raining at 5 o'clock..and some dispensers rush their butts off the ward supply faster than usual..what were being left at the ward supply are more than 30 folders that need to be filled, counterchecked and supplied to the wards..Working with all my friends (so as the ward supply BOSS), we tried our best to clear the folders a.s.a.p and let those travel back to Ipoh or Penang reach home earlier..BUT I don't like to travel late, so I just stayed down :P *不回家的男人*.. Another week of working before I got my CNY holiday starting from 2nd to 10th of February..I had a weird feeling, I don't feel very comfortable to take such a long holiday while some of my friends are actually working like hell at Taiping..It's a CNY anyway, planning to meet siauYong at KL if no much troubles..1st meeting since September last year, and it sounds so long ago..Long distance r'tionship is not so bad after all, when u got a chance to meet..haha

Tanjung Tualang, the place where I was brought up before moving to Ipoh before my kindergarden year..Go straight from Batu Gajah, you will reach here by around 30 minutes..I brought my colleagues from Taiping to this small town last 2 weeks for lunch before we went back Ipoh to sing-K..If you can take 1kg prawns (RM55), you can have them cooked in 2 different flavours (we ordered "steaming" and "oat bran")..hehe..sure u want to try right?!

Went to Penang with my colleagues again today (10 January'08)! Why Penang again?! oo..the last last (not typo :p) was mainly Bukit Mertajam...this trip more on the Island lah! Main purpose?! going for sembahyang a bit la! failed the damn forensic exam already! going for resit this March!..so we went to buy some "milk" (2 bottles!) and hopefully we get some luck next time lah! haha...! Highlights of the day was having a happy lunch at Seoul Garden before going for toilet at Batu Feringgi..:p..Why Gurney Drive?! to meet and have dinner with our "senior colleagues" from Hospital Taiping who also coming to Penang for a day trip..

...to be a pharmacist! After more than a month of working, I'm still very happy with my job here in Taiping..For the time being, I'm at the Satelite Pharmacy department..a combination of ward supply and out-patient..I like to give bed-side counselling to patients that were discharging and going home..because that's what I think why a pharmacist should be in a hospital..Some patients really wanted to know why he/she needed to take so many medications just for a single complication..for example, "hypertension"..they will ask why need to makan Beta blocker, together with diuretics, CCB, aspirin and many more...terlalu banyak-kut! A not so-passionate pharmacist will answer: "you will die of stroke if you dun ikut makan woh...jika ubat banyak tak mau I simpan balik.." :p..*Another 11 months to go..passions in pharmacy*

cheh..another jump shot?! sorry,this is the 1st using my new camera..I still find it difficult to even catch a simple scenery under manual mode (no point taking photos using DSLR but using "auto mode" wat :P)..I started wondering what's the point of waiting, adjusting all kinds of "setting" before catching a "below par" photo that could be taken better using my Lumix FX-7..Practice makes perfect right?! so I'm looking forward for the next public holiday! thanks to the Deepavali this year, me and my colleagues went to Bukit Mertajam and Penang for a lovely day trip..and YES, I haven started studying for the forensic exam coming end of this month! pray for me lah!

Group photo taken at the kursus..there are 49 females and 7 males PRP working in Negeri Perak this year..(NOT included Dylan Lim Wen Jun who joined the Hospital Ipoh yesterday :p)..Frankly speaking, the kursus was tiring..it was conducted for the up-coming forensic exam on 26 of November..Besides listening to 4-5 ceramah everyday, we were provided with 6 (SIX!!) session of MAKAN..breakfast, kudapan pagi, lunch, tea break, dinner and supper! although we got to do some outdoor exercise (Island hopping!) from 5 to 7p.m., I was still putting on weight! :< I made some new friends from other hospitals, they were all very friendly..hopefully we'll meet each other again lah..this kursus will be the ONLY one during my PRP year before I get fully registered..another 11 months to go..wondering should I offer myself to the Enforcement until then..haha..

photo taken at London..I was alone at that time and it was raining quite badly..nobody to hold my camera while I was trying to put on my rain clothes..obviously I miss my buddies who travelled with me all the time..If you really dunno (OMG!), I'm now working in Taiping which have the same weather as the lovely Glasgow..hehe..without any signs or symptoms..Taiping will rain like dog shit :p..It became worse when I got to open my house's door under the rain before I can reverse my Honda City out of my house..I'm now renting a room for RM150 (included water & electricity :>) and staying with a dietition who working in Hospital Taiping too..So far my working life was quite enjoyable! 8 a.m to 5 p.m everyday with an hour break from 1 to 2p.m. (12.15 a.m to 2.45p.m on Friday!!)..sounds not bad right?! haha..Now I'm working in Ward Supply (In-patient department), learning a lot of things everyday..Now only I know doctors made a lots of mistakes everyday :p.."Beta blocker together with Salbutamol?!"..stupidlah!

I used to go back Ipoh every weekend unless I need to ON-CALL lah! It's only a 45 minutes drive from Taiping to Ipoh! haha..so, if you want to find somebody to watch movie /yam-cha /da-gei /sing-k..ring me up lah!!.haha..

It has been so long since my last update! *2months back in Malaysia*..and finally I'm having my "break" in KL and that's why I get the chance, fast Internet, time and energy to update abit before my blog going to dead again..U have to understand that I got to wake up at 6.30 a.m in Ipoh and helping my parents doing some "business" in the very busy "chinese medicine hall"..

It was so difficult to take some night views during summer time..the day won't set until 2230 in London *not to mention it's around 2359 in Glasgow :p*..I was staying in Malaysian hall that have a 2300 curfew, so basically I have only 15 minutes to do it before rushing in the underground again..I have no complaint because M'sian Hall is really really nice and I only need to pay 6.46 pounds for a night in a private double beds room *with clean ensuite bathroom somemore!*..I felt so happy to be a Malaysian that time and..yes, wanted to shout Malaysia Boleh! haha.. *hopefully I'll get the chance to visit "the eye on Malaysia" before it's being removed at the end of this year..anybody interested?!*

*One of the last few photos before my camera fell onto the floor and habis-kan..* Le Mont St. Michel is so special because it used to be a tidal island..separated from the main land at high tide..but..**read this* Indeed, it's a very tiny (15 minutes walk) but beautiful town with an abbey on top of it..most of the shops inside are restaurants and sourvenirs, so is not too bad for me lah.. :p *Joe told me it was famous for omelette (35 euro+), and "unfortunately" I didn't get to taste it..who the pig will pay RM175 for some "eggs"??!!..* Traveling in France with Joe could be dangerous..because he "really" good in french and can help you to get some (a lot) 'mussels' when u wanted to order 'fish & chips'...damn..

Continued with the Encierro or "Running of the bull", the running will end at the "Arena" after 800m+..it was tricky in order to get into the Arena because you can't be so early or either too late..the gate of the Arena will be shut down after the last bulls go through, so be sure you are in front of the bulls!..Joe made it and he told me that the bulls are 2m behind him when he entering the Arena! *it was the only time he saw the bulls while running..this clever Joe ran from the beginning without looking back or stop..haha..damn kiasi :p*

If you think you are safe in the arena, you are WRONG!! it's gonna be more exciting!..haha..each time, a mad cow will be released into the arena and you'll be facing the bull! it was so crazy because you won't know which direction that the bull will be turning next! It will be repeated for around 5 or 6 times and you can only escape through the wall around the ring!..the whole thing was so enjoyable to watch..those people who try to challenge the bull are totally insane..some of them are unlucky enough and got charged by the bulls!!..haha..*I din see joe and probably he was hiding somewhere..!*

The chinatown in London is so big..and importantly, it has so many chinese restaurants in it!! As a fei zai who always craving for tasty chinese food back home, of course I didn't let the chance goes by! Before we got in to Wong Kei, Vanessa has already told us that the waiters are "not so polite" and we should know it..*she received complains from Rachel & Christina, so she didn't really dare to recommend us about this restaurant -_-"* However, when I first read the menu..OMG, the food are so cheap..for examples, this beef stew hor is 3.30 pounds only! and it was served in big portion! 真是大件夹抵吃啊!

Double-ball mee ordered by Vanessa (same price)..overall, I think the service not too bad lah..just they tend to put the chinese tea pot "strongly" on the table and making some noice..for me, I don't care so much lah when there is a big portion mee in front of me..haha! *oh ya, u need to share table with others during peak hours, 大排档style*

After finishing my beef stew hor, my craving for wan-tan mee conquered my mind and "unexpectedly" I ordered an extra plate of wan-tan mee for 2.90 pounds (damn cheap! but not very nice compared to M'sia!)..haha..it was really "suang" to eat non-stop and paid less than 7 pounds as a whole! *BEWARE ++ you might become a fei zai like me if you do this everyday..*

It's the best place to get drunk because there are lots of Tapas bars in town, where you can go "bar hopping" and eat tapas as dinner..I got myself drunk after 3 tapas bars..I love sangria! haha..*I went back campside at 2 a.m thanks to joe who drag me out from the bars*

Opening ceremony of the San Fermin festival at Pamplona on the 6th of July. It was really insane with people splashing champagne, sangria before the ceremony starting at 12 pm. It was really crowded (not recommended for girls), but it was really fun to be part of it..everyone will hold up their scarf and cheering "san fermin" when the 1st canon was fired from the Mayor house..the festival will be continue all day long until the midnight of 14th July with fireworks everynight at 11 pm. I'll say it's an experience of a lifetime and really crazy!

Me and joe in the traditional costume for the San fermin..everybody will be wearing like this throughout the whole week, and you will lost connection with your friend very easily! The top was the clean Topdeck T-shirt before the opening ceremony..dumping in laundry bag now :p

Joe and I decided to run on the 1st day, which was 07 07 07 but we were chasing out by the police because there were too many of us..so sad! Without any hestitation, we ran on the 2nd day..It was exciting when you saw lots of bulls passing you and you can't escape! *I didn't ever try to take any picture while I was running, kiasi*

**My camera, Lumix FX-9 (which belongs to siauYong) was broken down on the 2nd day of the 9 days tour..because I was so stupid not to remember to zip my camera pouch while I was walking on the street..it fells off and one of the function key "jam" and it can't be used anymore until I get it a fix in M'sia..so sad because I love it so much!! all photos from Cognac, San Sebastian (unexpectedly, very best place to go!), and Pamplona was taken using my mobile - Sony Ericsson K800i..cybershot rulez this time..aighh...

Finally, on the 25 of June, 2007, I graduated as a pharmacist from the University of Strathclyde. It was a long journey since I first decided to study pharmacy after my SPM..IMU was my choice even before I started my matriculation at Taylor's college. Lots of money, efforts, and time had been spent on me just to get me to this stage..my parents always tell me:" fei zai, the degree is for your own, not for us..and that's all we can do for you"..Today, after so many sleepless nights, I can finally tell my mom and dad that I've fulfill my dream and what they expect from me..with all the appreciation, thank you ba and ma!

also, I would love to thank siauYong..for all the patience, tolerance and love she had given to me..I'm sorry for being an impatience person with very bad temper..I knew it but I just can't get better everytime..thank you for brought me up from a small kid to a big kid..without you, life's just incomplete..

of course, in case you are a female, these are the boy samples that you will be meeting in IMU..although we all looks damn sissy in scottish kilt, we are very good!..haha..

By joining the twinning programme, you'll be transferred to Glasgow for the last year of your study..on your graduation day, you can wear a kilt and jump like them! I'll say it was an experience of a life time! *true scottish wear nothing in it!*

although girls can't wear kilt, you can choose to jump also..haha..look at their faces..they all looked so happy..it was so natural, and I love this photo so much..! *the feeling after graduation is a little bit different from passing an exam..you knew you won't be having anymore exam in the future (unless you want to!), you knew you'll be working very very soon..you knew you are going to earn money and maybe spending your own money..you knew you've GROWN UP..

Mexican chicken fajitas..a very nice dinner prepared by all the girls *appreciate!* at the Highlands..it was supposed to roll up the chicken with the tortilla (click this if you dunno what is it *remember the twister of KFC many years ago?*), but the meat taken by me was too much and can't even be wrapped by 2 tortillas..haha..so it turned out like this..well, I'll say it'll be more sedap if makan with rice *typical asian*!

famous Giant's causeway featuring all of my 6 models at Belfast..Folklore: it's believed that the causeway was build by an Irish giant called Finn McCool to walk to Scotland to fight a scottish giant. When the much larger Scottish giant crossed the causeway and looking for Finn, Finn's wife laid a blanket over Finn and pretended him as the "baby of Finn" to prevent him from fighting. By seeing the size of the "baby", the scottish giant assumed Finn must be gigantic! At the end of the story, he ran home in terror while ripping up the causeway in case he was followed by Finn.. *similar structure in Scotland is known as Fingal's Cave*..Believe it or not?!

photo of me with 3 highland cattles (also known as hairy coo)..hmmm, we saw only 2 of them in the Isle of Skye and they were too far away from us..while we were all disappointed for not taking any photo with them, our tour guide (James) found them somewhere near our bunkhouse at Plockton..everybody was so excited, but we were warned that *they can be very dangerous sometime..*..hehe, they looks dumb anyway!

la Boqueria market in Barcelona, located along the famous "petaling street" called La Rambla..the market offers everything from meat, seafood, fruit, vegetables to sweets..I'll say all of them are fresh! the 100% fruit juice can be bought as cheap as 1euro! Compared to Glasgow, there are lot of reasons why Barcelonian looks so much healthier and sexier! *one of them, Glaswegian drinks COKE*

Portuguese-style egg tarts, also known as "pastel de nata" in Portugal..is one of the most common food u can get along the streets in Lisbon..normal price ~ 1 euro only! very tasty if u manage to find the right pastry shop *fortunately, we found it the last minute before we leaving for Porto*

This will be the last time that I update my blog inside my room in James Blyth Court, my shelter for the past 12 months..basically, I love to stay here because my room in here is even bigger than mine in Malaysia (imagine how small it is!)..it is warm especially during winter, but it's not safe during summer (since my room is at ground floor, so it's favourable target for thief! though people living on top of me (1st level) had reported more robbery case than we did! how lucky we were :p). 1 month ago, we were sitting for our final exam; 1 month later, we all got our results (degree classification) and moving to a new house! it will be tough living in a very tiny room with 2 guys, especially that I'm fat..haha..It's LIFE of a survivor!
*I will be taking some photos of the James Blyth Court tomorrow after I wake up since my parents don't know how is it looks like..fyi,they don't read my blog & doesn't have friendster like kelvin's mom..haha..!*..see u guys after settle everything down tomorrow..

Please let me to end the month of May with some of the tasty chinese cuisines having in Belfast! It was a tiring day that everybody felt so reluctant to walk out to the city centre again just for having dinner, so I brought them to the nearest chinese restaurant that was not far away, unless we want to eat KFC again :p haha..everybody ended up paying ~£7, not bad lah I think..not too FULL, but we are going to sleep back soon after dinner..like a pig.

Mapo-taufu (麻婆豆腐), one of my favourites during my stay in Vista Komanwel, KL..haha..I always thought that Mapo-taufu is from Muar (麻玻), but philip told me his place only produce best otak-otak and mandarin speaking fanatics..haha

Gulou-yuk..is one of the few options that we can order because we can't order beef, duck and seafood by considering everyone's dietary requirement...nvm, I eat everything! haha..

Roasted chicken (whole) with soy sauce (lots of)..i think it's too skinny la..it was me that asked the waiter to put more soy sauce in it because I don't like DRY rice..Yeah, now you know why I'm so fat..I don't eat bread or biscuit as breakfast..I eat wantan mee, fried bihun, prawn mee, Ban-mee...etc etc..56 days to go..yeah!

Xiu-yuk..it would be perfect if eating it with some Kg.Koh's (joe's Home kampung!) chili sauce..if you love chili sauce, I'll say the chili sauce here "is" sucks (no matter where!)..haha..

...I'm very sleepy right now but still I need to pack all my stuffs into the very large box that set to be shipped back to Malaysia some time later..I personally think that the shipping is quite cheap, around 30 pounds to ship the largest box back to your real-HOME that is 7hours away from Glasgow..haha..*juniors, more info click here!*..

Photo showing everybody during the box collection session just now..in case you want to know, it is £37 for the largest box, and £32 for the medium box..Basically, guys might just need a medium one (though I so kiasu and got myself the big one :p) and there's nothing that u really need to ship back except those module notes..girls normally more clothes than us, so they need a large one, probably 2 tim..haha..*juniors, if your parents are coming for the graduation, they can help you bring back some..think about it!*

I was spending the past 10 hours watching, downloading and burning my favourite tv series into my laptop..haha..life after exam is so motionless!..but I just love it! There are some rumours flying in the sky saying that our results might be come out today! so it's gonna be a exciting or either a disappointed day..everybody please pray for us! These photos were taken at the Belfast riverside..this "fish" is called the "Belfast Big Fish"..it's made of several different pieces of tiles, nothing so special but it's unique :p! so..we took several photos there after we were so tired walking around searching for "Titanic memorial place" along the river Lagan (we can't find it at last!)..I will not blame anyone since we have to travel with a movie fanatic..ahemm, joe..who keep talking about Titanic and Braveheart (shoot in Ireland) along the trip..:p *remarks* - jietHui & felicia both looked like Mickey mouse hor..haha..

Belfast's cityhall..I'll say it's the only "xiong" building in Belfast..haha..there is a Northern Bank in front of it, which was famous for its robbery of £46millions many years ago..me and joeQuah withdrew a £10 from the ATM machine just to see what are the difference btw Scottish pounds and N.Ireland's! (haha..I spent it some time later, but I did take a photo and will show u next time)

St. Anne's cathedral view from the side..it has a very big cross with a circle around it..Our Irish tour guide told us that the circle represent the SUN..because the people last time believed that the SUN was their god..(I'm not sure about this applied to Belfast or not..:p)..the spire on top of the cathedral is called "spire of hope", which was just installed not long ago in April this year..NEW!

Hello everybody! I was just came back from the 5 days tour of Belfast and Dublin, and it was so fun! The experiences throughout the trip was quite different to either Paris or Italy..because it was not about the architecture or wealth history of the country, but it was the amazing, natural and spectacular's scenery that brought us the "WOW"! *I love Belfast more than Dublin because "Carrick-a-Rede Rope bridge" was so fun, and Giant Causeway was so unbelievable* Total spending for 5 days?! £230 ONLY! I didn't buy any T-shirt from this trip because I received one of the GUINESS-T as my birthday present! (will show u all one day :p) haha..thanks a lot (as well as all the wishes I received in the chatterbox and SMS!)..

Heard a song similar to this quite a few time in the Carrol's Irish gift stores quite a few times today..love it very much..hehe..enjoy!

The birthday boy is going to Ireland and Northern Ireland in 5 hours time! really looking forward to this first trip after all my exams..hehe..we were having a small party in the living room as the celebration of my birthday..Thanks a lot to you people because it was really quite "surprise"!! haha :p siauYong was making a coffee walnut cake for me (which is believed to be her "virgin" piece of bakery..haha..really tasty!! somemore there is a large "mixed fruit cocktail" made by my "admirers"..few chocolate muffins by jangNara, and not to forget the roti canai bought by ahSoh (£3.90 only for the curry leh!)..haha..really appreciate the efforts..love u all!! However, I got no photo to show it here to u all..will try to get some from zhiYong and acrix after this trip (I was not shooting any..too paiseh at the moment probably..haha..!)

well, being a fan, I was dissapointed by the FAcup result and ManUnited have nothing to proud of other than the premiership title this year..failure to win any of their last 3 games of the season since they clinched the league champion proven they are yet to be the BEST this season. Lost twice to Arsenal and West ham, drew 3 times with Chelsea (in 90 minutes), disasterous lost in Milan..what I can probably proud of was their 7-1 victory over AS Roma..love the passion, love the game! let's wait for the new season to start off in August then.. :p ohya, ManUnited will be playing a game against Malaysian XI in Bukit Jalil on 27 of July' 07 (the date after I reach home! haha)

Paris - Sacré Couer

The Sacré-Coeur Basilica is located at the highest point of Paris, Montmartre..so the view from there is one of the best :p..However, our mood was greatly distracted by some of the Africans over there (please, this is not a racism statement). At first, we didn't know that there is a "lift" at the bottom of the small hill that can actually brought us to the top where the basilica is located at, or we'll eventually escaped from those African, and saved €5 in our wallet..The story goes like this, there were more than 10 of them are standing in the middle of the staircase and tried to block the passage of 9 of us..of course, u'll feel so uncomfortable when so many AFRICANs were blocking in front of u..U know something BAD is happening!! We all trying to squeeze trough in between of them, BUT we can't bcos they were holding us back tightly..TIGHTLY means really STRONG (not to mention 7 of us are girls)..the damn african told me: "NO worry, we are not going to hurt u"..yup, they are RIGHT..they hurt my wallet..they'll tied a colourful string on ur wrist and then, ask MONEY from u la! they were asking €10 leh, wtf..we ended up paying €5 EACH (meaning total €45!) just to prevent anything worst will happen..what we brought back was the colourful string that those Aficans called "Hakuna Matata" , that will bring LUCK to us! (you know what's it if you watched Lion King :<) I didn't see them targeting europeans, so I guess they are quite smart because we are smaller in size (easier to catch) or they were the real racists!..Sacre Couer was the last destination we visited in Paris, and it spoiled all the good moments we had in Paris..:p

More tips to juniors:-
5. How much money?! very difficult question and the answer depends on yourself..If you are a boy, of course you eat more than those girls la..the living cost here are considered not high lah i will say (please don't convert la..) e.g. 15 eggs for £1 , ~£1.50 for 2 litres milk, 65p for a bottle of coke, KFC 3 pieces £3.20..etc..so daily spending won't be too much because most of the time you'll be cooking at home (except those "birthday peak season" or chinese new year la..:p) you can get lots of chinese/Malaysian food here in Glasgow (your seniors will show u the ways when u all reach here!), but they are expensive a bit la..something like indoMee is ~23p per pack, so no need ship from M'sia la..:p So, TOTAL how many is enough?! It depends on how "xiong" you want to travel around..bear in mind, a trip will cost u approximately ~£250 to ~£350 (~5 days trip)! If you don't spend any extra money (EAT at home ONLY), ~£50 pounds a month is more than enough! (wah..12x50 = £600 only wei!!)..*opps! suddenly I don't understand where did I spent all my money lah* so, I'll say £4000 is enough and can afford u to travel few places lah..hehe..(ask more from ur parents if possible! because the extra money u bring back M'sia the next year is much more usefull! imagine with just a £3 u can eat Mamak till u go hospital wei..haha..)

6. Working?! you can either works as a permanent staff or agency staff in here..the pay are the same, minimum £5.35 per hour..but permanent job can give u ~20 hours shift per week (you can end up earning more than ~£4000 at the end! think about it!!)..Agency most probably can give u only 10 hours per week (depends on the agency lah..difficult to say..) but got the advantages that u are flexible with ur time..work as u like or free..of course you are earning less la! (I only earned ~£1500 :p) *BEWARE* personal opinion:- u got to be good in managing your TIME and SMART enough to work as permanent..the classes here is lots more tougher, and u might only able to get a short leave from ur job before ur exam..Alternatively, you can earn a lot as agency staff during Summer holiday and X'mas new year *double/triple pay* holiday...these two are the PEAK season where u can possibly get many jobs!! *don't travel anywhere at that time but only after your graduation!*

Crème brûlée made by jangNa-ra a.k.a tongsuiMonster..Seriously, I've never eaten this "jim bu-er" before (don't know how to pronounce it!)..haha..so it's not fair to her if I say this is the tastiest jim bu-er I've ever eaten..so, I got to describe it from the other ways..first, the custard base was so smooth and tasty..sweet enough but not too sweet! ++10/10.. the chocolate was bitter, but is alright..most importantly, there is a "F" in it..which means "FOO"!! hopefully it's not "fail" or "f*ck*..haha..One thing I found it most fun is that those chocolate looks like the Spiderman3 parasites..haha..Thx jangNa-ra! Me, zhiYong and joe have finally finish watching the Survivor 14: Fiji today..I think it was one of the best survivor season ever (although I'm a big fan of survivor, I don't get to watch every one of them in Malaysia..too bad)..the show was so interesting because of an old man, called Yao-Man, a Malaysian born in Sabah..When the season started, we kept laughing at him because he looked so weak, and so ah-pek..while the show going on..He proved us that he's one of the greatest player ever..he's so clever and even won 2 physically immunity challenge! I felt so sad that he didn't win the 1million dollars because of a deal he made with a liar, called Dreamz..Seriously, it was so disgusting..

The story goes like this..During a reward challenge to win a FORD 4 wheels drive (6 survivors left), YAO won the challenge as well as the CAR worth 60,000 dolllars..Dreamz is a poor guy who don't even have a car at home, so YAO offered him the CAR with a deal...that Dreamz can get the car but Dreamz will give him the "immunity" if Dreamz won the "immunity" in the final 4 (in case that both of them are in the final 4)..Dreamz accepted the deal and grab the CAR without any hesitation (he swear at GOD that he'll keep the promise)..

YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPEN NEXT?! Both YAO and Dreamz made it to the final 4, and yes.. dramatically, Dreamz won the immunity..While YAO hoping that Dreamz will keep to his word, DREAMZ the fu**ing liar broke his promise..He kept his immunity and yet, he kept the CAR, and yet voted YAO off together with 2 other survivors..Yet, he tried to tell us that it was part of his strategy..WOW, this is so damn ugly...paling dulan is that he didn't even think to give back YAO the CAR..don't you think he is no difference with a thief?!...

My Tips:
1. Bring more clothes. Why?! Because you'll save money on laundry. Each washing will cost you £1.60 and around 60p for drying..so if you bring more clothes meaning you can wash them sekali-gus maybe every 3 weeks. Alternatively, buy clothes here..haha..you can get some very cheap T-shirts here in Primark. OR, you can actually handwashing in the bathroom and dry it on the heater in your room *(try get the "晒衣架" from your senior)*

2. Winter clothes?! Difficult question with some personal opinions. I didn't buy any of them before I came here. I only bought it during October when the weather getting colder (you will know exactly when to buy it when you are here). I think it was quite bulky to squeeze it into your 20kg luggage bag, not to mention if you are planning to bring over your DESKTOP..haha, one of your senior DID! If you are a GUY, u can get some really nice and boleh-tahan punya winter jacket at TK-MAX (around £40-60). GIRLS? Primark will be the choice if you are looking for those below £15 and you really don't mind that you are wearing the same jacket as many others along the streets. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO GET ONE IN MALAYSIA?! Waterproof and windproof are the MAIN FACTORS you are looking for! because Glasgow is so sick at Winter, raining + cold**

3. Contract phone or prepaid?! If you are planning to get a new phone before you came here, I'll say NO. If you want to save money on daily livings, I'll say choose prepaid. Prepaid - the sim card won't be deactivated if you are not topping it up, meaning you can choose to TOP UP only if it's zero. U get 100 texts FREE everytime you TOP UP. Contract phone?! You pay £35 and you'll get 400 mins anytime and 100 texts for a 12 months contract. Unused minutes and txt will roll-over to next month, meaning if you are only using 10 minutes this month, you'll get 790 minutes next month..haha..There are some other cheaper deal, for example £25 a month for 1000 mins OFF-PEAK (1900-0700) and 100 txt. BUT it's strongly NOT recommended because you really need to call during day time especially that you want to WORK here (to ask your BOSS when is the next shift or something like that)..Your mobile will be the only mean that you can contact with your family in Malaysia, so you must get ONE.
*CALL back Malaysia?! no worry..you can use your prepaid or contract FREE minutes to call back HOME without any extra charge. By calling a "secret number" before key in your malaysia number start with 00603***, that's FREE. More information can be found here! I'll say getting an O2, orange or T-mobile network is the best choice, because we have no problem with them in here* Vodafone? not sure :p

4. Books or any notes to bring?! probably I'll say NO. First, don't bring your BNF, because you'll BUY one here. Rang & Dale? probably you'll need it for your pharmcare essays to write on the pathophysiology part, but you can actually read it online by registering the online code behind your book cover. Notes?! remember to bring your hospital attachment notes! What about A4 papers or transparency?! you can bring some A4 papers if you are making notes each time. You will need some transparency for your tutorials some time, but you cant use them to print..so don'r bring too much like Felicia..haha..

A special dedicating to all my friends in Ipoh..people always say that the friendship during the school time is probably the best one..because it was so truely and childlike..hehe..although we started talking porn since standard 5 (imagine that..haha)..I came from a school where there's only guys in it (there are girls in Form6..so think how many years u got to know a female if you are so shy..haha..), so normally people will called you 三德和尚 if you tell them u are from Sam Tet..I love my school so much, probably it's because of the fact that we were told to love our school since standard 1..爱吾三德meaning "love my Sam Tet", I guess most of u love your school as much as me, right?!

I got some very good friends in Ipoh (21 of them), the bonding between us is even tougher than diamond I think..reason? we were all grown under a same condition..that's PBSM (Malaysian Red Cross Society) Perak Youth 7, we were together since the 1st day we entered and trained by the seniors..marching together, being punished together, sleep in school together, climb the wall at night together, went shopping complex bicyling at night together..probably I'll need 3days & 3 nights to finish talking about the fun things that we have been go through..

The life had changed so much since I lefting Ipoh and studied in Taylors, IMU and even now in Glasgow..more friends (and even closer) are around me now and it seems like the bonding between me and the Ipoh friends become weaker in the sense that we only meet each other once or twice half a year..so why do I still care?! It's because that everybody in this group of friends still CARE..thanks to everybody that trying to keep the friendship lasting, it seems like it's my responsibility to be part of it..
It sounds old, but I'm going to say it here.."Friendship forever"(please come to my pharmacy to buy medications in the future ya :p)..haha..

haha..from this picture taken in front of Old Trafford, u can probably see how short am I..:p Although I was repeating this story so many times to my friends, some of you might not know that I only grown 1cm higher from Form 1 to Form 4..when the PJ teacher announced it in the class, my whole class giving me some credits by clapping their hand loudly..haha..it was so funny..! Life in Glasgow is getting more lazy and "move-less" especially during exam period..sitting in front of the laptop more than 12 hours a day might probably cause me DVT or DM in the future..haha..No exercise, no working, keep chocolat-ing..what lifestyle can be worst than me?!

*anyway, ManUnited have just won their 1st leg of the UEFA champions league semi final against AC Milan by 3-2..2 goals from Wayne Rooney brought ManUtd back from trailling 2-1 at the half time..fanstatic!! next week SanSiro, Milan! Kaka played so well, hate him :p!
